Vijay Gurunatha Sethupathi, born on January 16, 1978, is a prominent Indian actor and film producer primarily active in the Tamil film industry. With a remarkable career spanning various languages including Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu, and Kannada, Sethupathi has garnered significant recognition, clinching prestigious awards such as the National Film Award, two Filmfare Awards South, and two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. His journey into the cinematic world commenced after a stint as an NRI accountant in Dubai. Initially stepping into the industry as a background actor, Sethupathi gradually ascended to prominence, transitioning from minor supporting roles to lead characters.
